Counting seals without leaving the shore and without disturbing wildlife.
What we did
As part of a research project, our client had a requirement to count and measure a herd of seals on a sand bar off the coast of the Scottish Highlands. From 100m height our small and silent UAV captured vertical and oblique photographs.
The results
Without disturbing the seals in their natural environment, we captured high-resolution images that allowed them to be counted and individually measured.
