Cyberhawk Innovations is proud to be invited to speak at the Second Global Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Symposium (RPAS2017) hosted by the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montréal, Canada.

Stuart McGlynn, Aviation Advisor to Cyberhawk will be at the event tomorrow {20 September}, where his presentation will focus on competency based training. Cyberhawk’s training system is recognised as one of the most comprehensive in industrial inspection and in the UK, Cyberhawk is supporting several industry bodies with the development of training competencies and standards. The opportunity to speak about our efforts in this area on a world stage is a huge honour.

The Symposium provides an international platform for licensing authorities, training facilities, regulators and the industry to exchange ideas and share best practices for the further development of an RPAS regulatory framework. The symposium is considered a barometer of current trends and a measure of innovation in drone technology.

Topics of the event include the developments leading to the new Remote Pilot Licence (RPL), implementation of approved training programmes, RPAS operations in the ATM environment (including safety risk management) and the impacts on human performance.
